Electric 2000 was formally registered and started operating in 1999.
The formation of Electric 2000 was conceived after many years of accumulated skills, hands-on
experience and application in the industry. The transformation of the South African political,
economic and social landscape gave rise to the long term vision to establish a reputable business
enterprise to cater for the needs of the electrical, security services and air-conditioning as well as
data and network systems in the sector. The company has undergone radical transformation and
is now a more sophisticated and integrated state-of-the-art technical operation.
Electric 2000 was pioneered in response to an apparent gap in professionalism, compliance with
the Occupational Health and Safety Standards, statutory bodies requirements and the provision
of integrated electrical services and systems in the industry. Electric 2000 prides itself in offering

current and compliant state-of-the-art technologies that are provided by skilled, friendly and
